The Ultimate Paul McCartney, Beatles, and Wings Tribute

Paul McCartney Tribute

Lawrence Gilmour is probably the best Paul McCartney tribute artist in the World.

After appearing on Stars In Their Eyes 10 years ago, numerous TV appearances followed - including TFI Friday, Ch4 documentary about the Beatles, singing live on London Weekend Television's Best of the Week show, and channel 5's night fever...to name a few.

After seeing him perform, the real Paul McCartney was so impressed, he invited Lawrence to work with him on one of his videos. They hung out together for several days, sharing the same dressing room and singing together.

He is an experienced and versatile performer - both as a solo artist and front man in several bands - including his current backing band Itchycoo Park - a very established tribute band in their own right. Over the years, he has performed his Paul McCartney tribute at Theatres, Conventions, Clubs, Pubs, Holiday Camps, Weddings, Private Functions all over the world. He plays piano, bass and guitar.

He played the part of Paul in a full length movie shot in Italy and has done fashion shoots with the likes of supermodel Linda Evangelista.

Lawrence currently offers four types of sizzling shows:

  • Solo Tribute Show to McCartney, the Beatles, and Wings - up to 2 x 45 minute spots of their greatest hits.

  • Extended Solo Show - extended to include tributes to other great artists who had a great influence on the Beatles such as Buddy Holly, Elvis, Roy Orbison, The Drifters, The Real Thing etc. Lawrence will also to his show more great dance numbers including The Drifters, Real Thing etc. This show can provide up to two and a half hours of great entertainment.

  • With Backing Band - the tribute show is supported by his superb four-piece backing band Itchtychoo Park who provide live keyboards, bass, drums, lead guitar and fab harmonies. This setup provides the closest sound to Paul MaCartney in concert today. 2 x 45 minute spots.

  • With Band plus 60s/70s/80s tribute - All of the above with an extra Tribute to the sounds of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Up to 3 hours of blistering musical entertainment.

Superb musical entertainment and audience participation make this performer one to book. Just listen to the audience reaction at the end of some of these samples.

Here is a sample of their work taken from live concerts. Just double-click on the link and it should start playing in Windows Media Player within ten seconds. If you are having trouble playing the MP3 see the Help section at the bottom of this page.

Ronan Keating Tribute Show

Ronan Keating tribute

Andy Nolan is Europe's Number One tribute to Ronan Keating.

From Scotland to Switzerland, from Turkey to the Canaries, Andy Nolan has entertained fans all across Europe with his tribute to Ronan Keating.

The rise of Boyzone was phenomenal. Under the guidance of manager Louis Walsh, the five Dublin lads quickly established themselves as the UK’s no.1 boy band. However, it was front-man Ronan Keating who always stole the show, eventually going on to carve out his own solo career and become one of Europe’s biggest stars.

The routine of showcasing all over the U.K. has reaped it’s own rewards, earning Andy the recognition of the biggest entertainment agencies in the business. This has taken him to the point where he is now in demand all over the U.K. and beyond. Delighting audiences with the very latest songs - always spot-on vocally (they just love that Dublin accent!) always looking the part and of course, always re-booked.

It was summed up very well by Mark Ritchie of The Stage "Andy Nolan should do very well with his tribute to Ronan Keating. This has to be one of the most convincing lookalikes and soundalikes on the market".

The show is very flexible and can be staged a 45 minute spot, a 60 minute spot or 2 x 45 minute spots.

Here is a sample of Andy's work. Just double-click on the link and it should start playing in Windows Media Player within ten seconds. If you are having trouble playing the MP3 see the Help section at the bottom of this page.

Help! How do I play these video or music files?

VIDEOS

If you cannot see the flash movie above, then you first need to establish whether you can see any Flash Movies on your computer. Go to the Photobucket page here and see if any of the Flash Movies will play. If they do not, then you either need to enable Javascript in your Internet Browser or/or update your version of Adobe Flash Player by clicking here. This will take you to the Adobe downloads page where you can download the update for your operating system. It's only a one minute download and will enhance your viewing pleasure while on the internet.

However, try enabling Javascript in your Internet Browser first. If you have a POP UP BLOCKER enabled, then disable it. If Javascript is disabled, the web page will you a message saying that you do not have Flash installed or you need upgrade your version of Flash, which may not be true.

If you have Internet Explorer 7 and can't get any Flash Movies to work, then download and try the much superior web browser called Firefox here.

MUSIC SAMPLES

It's easy! Just double-click on the link and Windows Media Player (or whatever music player you have installed on your PC) should run and start playing the music file within a few seconds. Make sure you have your speakers plugged in and switched on.

If you have a Broadband internet connection (which is very fast), then the music files should play very smoothly straight away.

However, if you have a standard "Dialup" connection (your modem dials up to allow you to make the connection to the internet) then you will find the music file stops and starts all the time. This is because your PC music player is trying to stream or play the music as it downloads to your hard drive but your internet connection isn't fast enough to play the music smoothly.

If that is what is happening to you, then all you have to do is let the music stagger through once (it is downloading as this is happening) and then it will play at full speed after that. You can then listen to the the music file as many times as you want.

Alternatively, you can download the mp3 first and play it from your Hard Drive. To do this, just right-click on the mp3 link and select "Save target as" from the drop-down menu.

You can then save the mp3 file to your Desktop or any other folder of your choice.

When the mp3 file is completely downloaded, double-click on it and it will play immediately on Windows Media player or whatever music player you have installed.

We hope that has helped you. If not, just give us a ring on 0141 577 6604 and we'll talk you through it.

We're here to help you in any way we can.
