Booking from outside the UK?

Not a problem! We have experience in arranging Bands for clients based in Europe, Canada, and the USA for Weddings and Functions in Scotland. We can help you every step of the way and supply you with Demo CDs or MP3s of Bands. At the planning stage, we will even put you in contact with the Band Leader so you can work out your exact requirements with him or her by telephone or email.

We are also experienced in supplying Function Bands and Ceilidh Bands for functions abroad. Indeed, we are always delighted to hear from Expats and Caledonian Clubs from around the World and providing them with a reliable and friendly service.

The Mellotones

The Mellotones with it's repertoire of Swing, Latin American, Mainstream Jazz Classics, and Pop Music offers dance or background music of the highest calibre.

With the Melotones, the accent quite firmly on Swing and Cool Jazz.

The basic Trio consists of some of the finest Jazz musicians in Scotland is comprised of Piano, Bass, and Drums. However, they can also add Sax or Trumpet bring it up to a 5 piece or even larger.

In the 3 piece line-up, the bass player is the man with the golden voice and he provides the vocals in the style of Frank Sinatra, Mel Thorme, and Bobby Darin, with impeccable style.

So if you want Swing, this band will give it to you in spades!

However, if you want a more diverse repertoire, then the band can also provide Pop Music ranging from Pretty Woman to Rock Around the Clock and La Bamba to Uptown Girl.

For easy listening, Swing, or pop classics at weddings, functions, or corporate events, the Melotones are the band to book.

The Rhythm Kings Dixie Jazz Band

The Rhythm Kings is one of Scotland's best Dixieland Jazz Bands. Their upbeat, Dixie music is guaranteed to produce a happy atmosphere, bring a smile to your face, and get your foot tapping.

Being experienced professionals, they've done everthing in their time - from Shopping Centre Promotions to Five Star Hotels. No job is too big or too small for this friendly and highly-adaptable band.

They have worked with Jazz stars such as Kenny Ball and Acker Bilk, appeared with Dame Edna Everage, and were the support act for Rod Stewart at the SECC in Glasgow.

The Rhythm Kings are also very adept at providing background music for Weddings and Corporate Entertainment. "But won't their instruments be too loud?" - asked one client. Not at all. These expert musicians can play very softly in the background and hit just the right level which adds to the atmosphere but doesn't affect conversation.

The band is scalable from three piece right up to five or six piece; so you can choose a size and sound to suit your budget.

We can honestly recommend Scotland's Kings of Dixie Jazz for any event or promotion without reservation.

The Andrea Turner Jazz Duo/Quartet

Jazz singer Andrea Turner, whether accompanied by her pianist or full quartet, offers some the coolest music for events and functions in Scotland today.

This lady's got a great jazz voice and is has worked with many of the best Jazz musicians in Scotland.

Andrea can offer up to two forty-five minute spots and can can tailor the program to suit your event or function. Recently she was appearing at the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh.

Whether providing background music or a Cabaret spot, Andrea and her musicians will provide the right ambience for your party, establishment, or event.

The Jive Aces - The UK's Top Jive and Swing Band

If you like Jive and Swing, then it doesn't get better than this. The Jive Aces are the Kings of Swing. Since forming in 1989, this professional six-piece group have starred in thousands of major festivals, theatres, clubs, and top charity and corporate events throughout Britain, the USA, France, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Eire, Belgium,Holland,the Carribean, Estonia, Israel, Hungary and Canada.

They are renown for their high-energy Jump Jive music (an exciting and very danceable blend of Swing, R&B, Rock and Roll, Boogie and Jump Blues) and their spectacular stage show.
