Just want to say that we were over the moon with The Goodfellows who played at our wedding recently. As you know we were rather late in looking for a band due to a call off so we were rather anxious about a good band being available at short notice. Mick, from the band, could not have been more helpful. He said that the band would learn our first dance which they did. He also agreed to play on a little longer than we had planned due to a delay in the band starting which was not of their fault. Another gesture which was very much appreciated was that he agreed to allow one of our guests to play along with the band for a couple of songs which is something you don’t often see these days.
The band was absolutely fantastic and our guests were all talking about how good they were. Even people who were not at the wedding have been saying that they heard it was a great night. The Goodfellows made it a brilliant night and the dance floor was never empty. Although it may be traditional for some ceilidh music at weddings it is not really our scene and the band took account of this without a problem. Their sets were absolutely spot on and we couldn’t have made them up any better ourselves. Overall we couldn’t be more pleased that we chose this band as they were totally helpful, co-operative and professional throughout.
