Booking from outside the UK?

Not a problem! We have experience in arranging Bands for clients based in Europe, Canada, and the USA for Weddings and Functions in Scotland. We can help you every step of the way and supply you with Demo CDs or MP3s of Bands. At the planning stage, we will even put you in contact with the Band Leader so you can work out your exact requirements with him or her by telephone or email.

We are also experienced in supplying Function Bands and Ceilidh Bands for functions abroad. Indeed, we are always delighted to hear from Expats and Caledonian Clubs from around the World and providing them with a reliable and friendly service.

Atlantic Soul - Soul and Motown Band in Scotland

Atlantic Soul Showband is a specialist in the Wedding and Corporate scene. They have travelled the length and breadth of the country, having played in just about every major hotel and venue in Scotland, England and abroad.

They are a fully scaleable showgroup (from seven-piece down to a duo) whose unique style has seen them tour throughout the UK and internationally. They have starred at a wide variety of functions, from small intimate private parties to large corporate events and dinner dances, and from holiday park theme nights to large open air festivals. Prestigious weddings and Corporate Events are their speciality.

Atlantic Soul Showband performs the whole spectrum of dance music from the 50's through to present day chart hits, as well as classic soul, motown and disco. For weddings, a short optional ceilidh set can be incorporated if required, as well as additional ceremony music and additional small jazz combo during dinner. Their integrated Disco is always incorporated into the package, unless you have your own DJ booked.

They have earned a fantastic reputation as one of the most exciting showbands performing in the UK! With up to four powerful vocalists (including both male and female lead vocals in any size lineup), a superb four-piece rhythm section and live brass with their gorgeous female sax player, Atlantic Soul work as a seven-piece down to a two-piece band.

Atlantic Soul gives it's own special treatment to hits from all decades, with costume changes, choreographed dance routines and excellent state-of-the-art sound, light and multimedia systems to make a great all round entertainment spectacular, one that audiences remember for a very long time. The past 50 years have given us some of the best music of all time. Atlantic Soul has worked their magic to bring you their sensational show, keeping the best of the greatest music very much alive.

They have Public Liablity insurance and all their equipment is PAT tested.

Atlantic Soul - Sample Setlist

For Atlantic Soul, there is no such thing as a standard setlist. They are continually updating their setlist with new material. As a bespoke service to each individual client, your own special 1st dance song can be learned, rehearsed and played live for you on the night given 4 clear months notice. Here's a small sample of songs that can be incorporated into a standard night's repertoire to get the party started...

In addition to the songs listed, they can do a full evening's entertainment or cabaret/tributes of certain themes. The themes they provide are:

• 60 & 70's night (costumes in keeping with the era)
• 70's Show (3 x costume changes of the era)
• Divas Show (incorporating costume changes & tributes to the greatest divas from Cher to Streisand to Elton!)
• Abba Set (as 3 or 4 pc with additional female singer and guitarist with costumes) then music for dancing
• Country Music (for country clubs and festivals)
• Soul Music (for soul nights and festivals)
• Laid back cabaret incorporating soul, country, jazz, etc
